Voluntary work
People are a big part of our organisation and we would have trouble operating if we didn’t have individuals willing to put up their hand and volunteer.
There are often times when we have too much help so don’t be upset if we can’t fit you in immediately.
The main areas of service are:
-
Drivers (driving the residents to various appointments) – in desperate need
-
Bus/coach drivers (need HR licence) – in desperate need
-
Admin (assisting with but not limited to Accounts, Social Services, Shalom Works, Finances)
-
Cleaning (finding time to run the vacuum around the office and organising decor, even watering the plants can be difficult. Putting your hand up for a day a week to do the most humble of jobs)
-
Cooking (helping out our loving Chef once a week to prepare the boys a special meal)
We ask that anyone who volunteers MUST commit to at least one full day per week, for a minimum of a 3-month commitment.
If you would like to volunteer please call Carrie Smith on 0466 508 933
